Famous Heroes

Here are a few of the famous heroes and Heroines who have walked the lands.

Erryn, Dragonslayer.

Erryn was a great Tamaraith hero responsible for slaying the dragon Rothgar and ending his domination over the Tamaraith Highlands. Tales say he had traveled the world. After an absence of thirty years he returned to the highlands with a band of faithful followers intent on slaying the last of the elder dragons. The battle against Rothgar is detailed in the famous bardic epic ‘Erryn’s Saga’.

Druwyn the Hunter.

Druwyn was a famous ranger who roamed the Wildlands. He is famed for tracking the dragon Aracla to her lair and slaying her with a magical arrow. In doing so, he ended the domination of the elder dragons in the Wildlands.

Falenn the Bard.

Falenn was the first Tamaraith Bard. She was the most beautiful Tamaraith woman to walk the highlands and her music was the finest ever heard. She wrote the first histories of the clansmen and trained the first bards to carry on that knowledge. When the dragon Rothgar tried to destroy her school, she enchanted him with her music allowing her pupils to escape with their lives.

Raeth the Trickster.

Raeth was a constant companion of Erryn on his many journeys. He was a rogue and a thief of great skill. Erryn is said to have commented that no lock had been made that Raeth could not break. His greatest deed was to defeat the dragon Rothgar in a game of chance and steal the sword 'Fury' from his hoard.

Danyth.

During the domination of the Elder Dragons, she helped thousands of people escape from the Highlands to safer lands.
