Just inside the Zale Gate and south of the Zale Road is the Market district. This district is dominated in the northern parts by the Stadium, the Market Theatre and the Garrison. These public buildings were completed in 1015TA when the area was redeveloped.
The remaining houses are mainly used by sailors and dockworkers while staying over in the city. The area is also well known for it's brothels and gambling dens.
